Basketball uniform fabrics are a specialized category of lightweight, high-performance polyester textiles engineered specifically for the physical demands of basketball — constant sprinting, jumping, lateral movement, and extreme sweat output (1–2 liters per game).

Unlike casual sportswear, basketball fabrics must satisfy a strict set of requirements: moisture wicking rated at Grade 4+ (AATCC 195), air permeability above 180 mm/s (ASTM D737), stretch recovery above 90% after 5 cycles, and colorfastness Grade 4+ for both wash and light exposure.
