Sublimation reality: The only fabric color that matters for sublimation is white. All sublimated soccer jerseys start as white polyester — the sublimation process adds all color during printing. The swatches above represent common solid-color options for non-sublimated zones or for simple solid-color orders without full sublimation. For full sublimation, you can use any Pantone color, photographic images, gradients, complex patterns, and multi-color designs — the limitation is your designer's creativity, not the fabric. We keep Pantone color profiles on file for all repeat clients so Season 3's red matches Season 1's red exactly.

What Soccer Demands from Fabric

Soccer is unique — 90 minutes, high-intensity, full-body movement, plus the visual requirement of team identification from distance.

Moisture Wicking

Polyester is inherently hydrophobic — it doesn't absorb water. Sweat is pulled to the fabric surface by capillary action in the knit structure and evaporates rapidly. A player loses 1–2 liters of sweat per match; the fabric must move this volume continuously without becoming saturated.

Lightweight Feel

At 140–160 GSM, a men's match jersey weighs 140–180 grams total. The fabric should be so light the player doesn't think about it — any perceptible weight distracts from performance. This is why mesh panels are critical: they reduce weight in non-structural zones.

Stretch & Recovery

4-way stretch (5–8% spandex) allows the jersey to move with the body during sprinting, jumping, and tackling — then return to its original shape. Without stretch, the jersey rides up, pulls at the shoulders, and restricts arm swing during throwing.

Full Sublimation

The dye becomes part of the polyester fiber at a molecular level — it cannot crack, peel, fade, or wash out. This means club crests, sponsor logos, player names, and complex designs are permanent and identical on every jersey in the order.

Breathability

The knit structure creates micro-channels between yarn loops that allow air circulation. Mesh panels accelerate this by creating larger openings. Without breathability, heat builds up under the jersey, core temperature rises, and performance drops after 60 minutes.

Pull Resistance

Soccer involves constant grabbing and pulling by opponents. The interlock double-knit structure resists deformation and tearing under lateral stress far better than single-knit fabrics. This is why T-shirt fabric (single jersey) is never used for match kits.

Color Visibility

Team identification must be instant from 50+ meters. Sublimated colors on polyester are more saturated and vivid than any other printing method on any other fabric. Under stadium floodlights, polyester reflects light more consistently than natural fibers.

Shape Retention

Polyester interlock has excellent dimensional stability — it doesn't stretch out of shape after repeated wear and washing like cotton. A jersey that fits correctly on Day 1 should fit identically on Day 100. This is critical for professional team kits worn 30–40 times per season.
