Three Decoration Methods
Waffle knit is cotton-based and cannot be sublimated — but these three methods deliver outstanding results on the textured surface.
Embroidery
The #1 choice for waffle knit. The textured surface adds depth to embroidered logos, creating a premium dimensional effect. Works beautifully on chest, back, and sleeve placements. We recommend medium-density backing for stability.
Screen Printing
Water-based or plastisol inks for bold logos and graphic designs. The waffle texture slightly softens print edges — best for larger, simpler designs rather than fine detail. Excellent opacity on dark waffle colors.
Heat Transfer / CAD Cut
Ideal for size labels, care labels, and small branded elements. PU films heat-press cleanly onto waffle texture. Not recommended for large designs — the texture can cause uneven adhesion on big surface areas.
