PRIVATE LABEL EXPLAINED

What Is Private Label Clothing?

Private label clothing is apparel manufactured by our factory and sold exclusively under your brand name. The end customer sees only your brand — your logo, your labels, your packaging — with zero reference to the manufacturer.

Private Label vs. White Label

White label means buying pre-made blank garments and adding your logo. Private label means the garment is built from scratch to your specifications — your fabric, your fit, your construction, your design. You own the product, not just the branding.

Why Brands Choose Private Label

Full control over quality and profit margins. No shared designs with competitors, no generic blanks, no dropship limitations. Your product is genuinely unique — and that is what builds lasting brand loyalty and customer trust.

Who Uses Private Label

Streetwear brands, boutique labels, gym owners, DTC e-commerce stores, corporate uniform buyers, promotional companies, and first-time entrepreneurs. Any business that wants custom clothing without owning a factory uses private label.

The Market Opportunity

The global apparel market is worth over $1.7 trillion. Private label gives you access to this market without the overhead of factory leases, machinery, or hiring production staff. You focus on brand and sales — we handle manufacturing.

FABRIC OPTIONS

Fabrics for Private Label Clothing

Fabric determines comfort, durability, and perceived quality. We stock and source fabrics tested across garment categories.

100% Cotton

140–220 GSM. Soft hand feel, breathable, natural. Standard for casual t-shirts and everyday wear. Pre-shrunk options available.

Poly-Cotton Blend

60/40 or 65/35 blend. Combines cotton comfort with polyester durability. Reduced wrinkling and shrinkage. Ideal for polos and workwear.

100% Polyester

150–220 GSM. Moisture-wicking, colorfast, wrinkle-resistant. Used for sportswear, sublimation printing, and performance apparel.

French Terry & Fleece

280–380 GSM. Loop-back or brushed interior for warmth. Essential for hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, and cold-weather garments.

4-Way Stretch

Polyester-spandex blends (80/20 or 75/25). Full range of motion. Required for fitted garments, leggings, and performance wear.

Ribbed Fabric

1x1 and 2x2 rib knit. Excellent stretch and recovery. Used for cuffs, collars, hem bands, and form-fitting garment panels.

Piqué Cotton

Classic textured weave for polo shirts. 180–240 GSM. Holds shape well, breathable, premium appearance. Honeycomb patterns available.

Denim & Canvas

8–14 oz denim weights. Used for jackets, workwear pants, and heavy-duty garments. Washed, raw, and stretch denim variants.

HOW IT WORKS

Private Label Manufacturing Process

From your initial concept to branded products at your warehouse — every stage explained.

STEP 1

Share Your Vision

Send us your tech pack, sketches, or reference images. No tech pack? Our design team helps you develop production-ready specifications — fabric, measurements, stitch types, and print methods based on your target market and price point.

STEP 2

Fabric & Material Selection

We send physical fabric swatches so you feel the material before committing. Choose from stock fabrics or request custom weights and finishes. You can also ship your own fabric to our facility for CMT (cut, make, trim) production.

STEP 3

Physical Sample Production

A pre-production sample is made with your chosen fabric, fit, and branding placement. You verify everything — fit on a model, fabric hand feel, print quality, label position. Revisions included until you approve.

STEP 4

Label & Packaging Production

While your sample ships, we produce custom woven labels, printed neck tags, hang tags, and branded packaging in parallel. This eliminates delays — everything is ready when bulk production starts.

STEP 5

Bulk Manufacturing

After approval and 50% advance, production begins. We send photo and video updates at cutting, printing, stitching, and finishing stages. You stay informed without visiting the factory.

STEP 6

Quality Check, Branding & Packing

Every garment passes AQL 2.5 quality inspection. Defects are replaced before packing. Custom labels, hang tags, and branded poly bags are applied. Each piece is individually inspected before sealing.

STEP 7

International Shipping

Packed with full export documentation — commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Air freight 5–7 days or sea freight 25–35 days. We guide first-time importers through customs, duties, and paperwork.

CONSTRUCTION

Stitching & Print Methods

The right construction method depends on the garment type, fabric, and end-use. Here is what our production floor handles.

Stitching Methods

  • Overlock / serger — clean edge finish for t-shirts and casual wear
  • Flatlock seams — smooth, no chafing for activewear and fleece
  • Coverstitch hemming — professional dual-needle finish on hems
  • Bar-tack reinforcement — stress points at pockets, belt loops, and straps
  • Chain stitch — durable seam for denim and heavy fabrics
  • Binded edges — clean finish for necklines, armholes, and hems

Printing Methods

  • Screen printing — cost-effective for bold logos, 1–6 color designs
  • DTF (Direct to Film) — high detail, soft hand, works on cotton and poly
  • Sublimation — all-over print, unlimited colors, no cracking on polyester
  • Embroidery — premium textured finish for polos, jackets, and caps
  • Heat transfer vinyl — suitable for small runs, names, and numbers
  • Rubber / PVC patches — 3D logo effect for jackets and bags
